Like I said before, please do not send MIME and/or HTML encrypted
messages to the list. a Plain text only, PLEASE!

Perhaps, although I don't think so. Try running the tag command with
tracing enabled (cvs -t tag -d release-tag) and post the trace. (in
plain text, NOT MIME and/or HTML!).
