That implies that the data stream from the server to the client is
getting corrupted.  It could be the fault of the ssh client, the ssh
server, or some piece of hardware/software in between in the
communication channel.  You might want to look through one of the
corrupted files and see if you see anything that looks like an error
message from ssh.
