The following is the information that you requested using the trace:

R Groups.java
S-> join_file(Groups.java, 1.6, BRANCH_POJO3, )
S-> checkout
(/usr/cvs/us/src/java/domain/org/familysearch/domainmodel/Groups.java,v, -1.6, ,
Groups.java)
cvs: rcs.c:4114: RCS_checkout: Assertion `rev == ((void *)0) ||
(__ctype_b[(int) (((unsigned char) *rev))] & (unsigned short int) _ISdigit)'
failed.
Terminated with fatal signal 11

cvs -version

Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.0.5 (client/server)

Concurrent Versions System 1.11.2 (server)

SSH connectivity provided by PuTTY:

This may or not be of help (similar error seen by another user):

    <http://www.mail-archive.com/address@hidden/msg04903.html>

Try enabling tracing (cvs -t) and post the output. Also, please post the
version of CVS you are using (client and server). Looking through the current
ccvs code, I couldn't find that assertion line, so upgrading may be an
option...

HTH,
Matt
