Patches against the cvs trunk (1.12.1.1) that include sanity.sh test
cases to exercise the new feature will be considered.
Only bug fixes are going into the cvs 1.11.x branch, so this feature
will not go there.
Also, the patch should not be conditional on the macros RSE_PATCHES or
RSE_PATCH_IMPORTINFO, so those parts of the patch need to be removed.
