Good Afternoon,
I have a cvs "client" running on a server
(machineA) and the repository setup on a bigger,
beefier machine(machineB). machineB is mounted
to machineA and then the pserver connection is as
it normally would be; giving location of cvs exe
and cvs repository.
(repository was placed on seperate server because
of the 3x increase in checkin/checkout times due
to decreased iowait times)
Anyway, now I have a request to place another cvs
client (exe) on a seperate machine(machineC)
because that's where there apps reside, so I'm
wondering how I should go about the pserver
repository connection:
1) do I have to again mount the repository
machine to this new machine and then do the usual
pserver setup in inetd.conf
or
2)is there a command I can add to the cvspserver
connection, something like:
... allow-root=serverB://cvs_repository pserver
Just curious. I would imagine I have to just
make another mount to the repository machine, but
thought I'd ask just in case there is another
way.
