Pre checkout

Hi guys! I'm trying to run a script when the user run "cvs checkout". I'd like 
the script check if the user has permission on this module.

I'm trying this:

CVSROOT/modules
--- snip snip ---
mymodule  -o /path/to/check.pl mymodule
--- snip snip ---

But I see the verification is after the checkout is completed (not before).


Does exist anyway to perform this task?
