Changing the folder hierarchy..

I would like to know whether changes in where a file resides in folder hierarachy   ( Like changing the folder hierarchy.) can create problems  in re-creating the code from the tag or getting the file history, etc.. . Eg:

I move files / folders  from PrjA\abc  folder to say : 

PrjA\abc\Text

What would be the more implications besides changes to be made in modules file...
