There is more than one such client out there...

I am not familiar with Mac CVS 3.2 beta 8. You will need to get answers
out of the folks at MacCVS.org about those problems.

As I recall, MacOS X comes with a fairly old version of cvs (version
1.10 right?). However, if you have the development tools installed, you
may download the latest stable cvshome.org tarball and build it with no
problems on your system.

If you would rather not configure and build it by hand, you might trying
using fink ('fink install cvs') to get a cvshome 1.11.x version of cvs
(I am not sure what version of cvs fink is providing these days). You
can grab a copy of fink from fink.sourceforge.net where they also have
bootstrap instructions. (I don't think that www.versiontracker.com tracks
the cvshome version of cvs for MacOS X boxes, but you could look there
for other cvs clients as well.)

        Good luck,
