CVS Entries file being truncated

Hi,

Recently we have been finding that our Entries files on some sandboxes
have become truncated.  If we remove the directory and check it out from
cvs again using 'cvs up -d dir' then all is well and the Entries file is
just fine.  Haven't been able to pin it down to a particular
command/scenario yet.

Any opinions ?

We're running 1.10.7 on Solaris 8.
