Exactly what are you concerned about?
Would a hearty endorsement suit you? We have been using CVS for several
years (I started with the company 7 years ago, and we were using it before I
joined). We have about 70 developers using it at this location. In all those
years, with those thousands of check-ins, check-outs, merges, tags, etc. I
am not aware of any problems that have been caused by CVS. Any problems we
encountered were beyond CVS's - or any software's - ability to handle: hard
drive failures, the 2003 blackout, etc.
