Over the years, we've had people issue a 'cvs watch add' command, then those
people have moved on to other jobs (most of these are co-op students, so
it's not like we have a high turnover in full-time staff ;)
Before they leave, though, they forget to issue the 'cvs watch remove'
command. So, when I check in files, I get a lot of bounce messages from the
mailer daemon, complaining that the recipient address is not valid.
I figure I could alias the user ID to my own ID, then issue the watch remove
command, then remove the alias, but I was wondering if there was a better
way.
Ideally, I'm thinking a 'cvs rwatch' command which would accept a -w[userID]
option would be great for administrators. Thoughts? Comments?
