But the tag *is* moved, if the testing robot succeeds with its
post-commit build.

If it weren't for deleted files, the robot could be just this:

    #! /bin/sh
    cd /the/reference/sandbox
    cvs update
    make test && cvs update -F LastGood

If files are removed, that's not enough.
