1: Since the people at cvshome.org are not providing binaries, they
are not responsible for binaries that could contain virusses or
trojan horses. That's basically what the disclaimer says.
2: It all boils down to:
$ configure
$ make
$ make test
$ su -c 'make install'
Read the approriate documentation and do what it says.
