Why "co" locked by server after the repository moving to another PC?

Hi,

I met the problem when I tryied to checkout the
repository moving to another PC(RED HAT 7.0). The
repository worked fine locally on RED HAT 7.3. How
come it didn't work right just removing to new home?

How to solve this? I searched archive but didn't get
the nice message. If this is a FAQ, pls point out it
to me.
