RE: CVS on IIS?

Jim,
Thanks for responding.  While the situation is similar, it doesn't 
quite fit the
requirements of my team.  This seems more like VSS being broken than a really
useful feature, but here is what you can do with Visual Studio and IIS with
VSS:

UserA checks out FileB
UserA modified FileB
Before checking FileB in UserA saves the file (kinda locally) then is able to
view the file on the webserver.  (The real web server, not a local copy.)
If UserA likes the results they can then check FileB in to make it 
readable for
the rest of the people working with it.

From what I understand the example you showed does this (which to me 
makes more
sense btw.):
Upon checkin of FileB CVS will execute a checkout command for the 
webserver.  In
my case I would need to map a drive on my linux box to the NT box that IIS is
installed on to make that happen.  I will see if this is acceptable to 
everyone
on my development team.  In the meantime, is there a way to break CVS so it
does the same thing? (I won't be at all hurt if the answer is no short of
rewriting the thing myself.) hehehe
