not all files get imported

hi all,

i tried to import my repository(e.g test_prj) on the cvs server .  by going to the directory which is to be imported the follwoing command is executed

address@hidden test_prj >> import -m "log msg" test_prj username start

but this command fails to check in one directory into the cvs. this dir contains only one *.o  file.
i also tried by just importing this dir and it is successful on client but i was unable to find out the same *.o file on cvs repository..

what might be the problem?
any help would be appreciated
