After removing the file, did you commit? The removal doesn't happen (in the
repository) until you commit the change.

Subject: best way to remove a file from a branch?
Hi,
What is the best way to remove a file from a branch?
The normal cvs remove seems to work (i've read some problems with that,
but i tried it and it's fine), but it doesn't go into the Attic, and
tools depending on that don't show it as removed.
I guess that's better than using the dangerous tag -B -d BRANCHNAME
filename (still don't get an history anyway, in that case)?
Is there a better way of doing this?
Thanks
Jean-Pierre
