Problem with losing watches. |

We are currently running CVS version 1.11.20 on a linux server. WinCVS
1.2 and 2.0 for clients and PowerBuilder/PushOk on top of that.
PushOk uses CVS watches to simulate locks on objects that are "Checked
Out". Frequently when a intensive CVS command is executed, such as a
full check out, these watches are being lost. The directory that these
are being lost on is large, containing about 3700 files. So far I have
found the following:
- Only watches belonging to the user running the CVS command are being
lost.
- Watches are being lost without the running of PowerBuilder/PushOk.
- In one case, a watch was lost while running a cvs update on the
server itself. No client involvement was needed.
I was wondering if anyone else has run into this watch loss problem and
if so, if a solution is available.
Thank you,
David
