When i do cvs delete file moves in to attic folder its
good idea but problem is with my back-up restoration
whenever i restore my back-up i always see my deleted
files also its due to attic folder i don't want these
deleted files back in my back-up restoration process
what should i do for that ??
See my previous response.
It's your repository you can do whatever you want with it. However, if
you remove the Attic sub-directory you will *never* be able to reproduce
the state of your hierarchy from the point in the past where the files
in the Attic existed. IE, if you remove a file today and then remove the
Attic sub-directory, tomorrow you will *not* be able to check out the
files from yesterday, since it is no longer in the repository.
Essentially, as far as CVS is concerned the file never existed.
