Thanks. That was a good idea. One more question - is there a way to have
loginfo include which module the commit was done on? Specifically I have
a case where 1 module is defined as a combination of 2 others (using
modules file). I can get the "sub-modules" from the directory path but
not the top level module name.

Yes, just look at the %v parameter(s) to loginfo, and if they contain
more than one '.' then it's a branch and you don't need to send a
message.
