Alright.  All good points.  I guess a) I just don't care, and b) I don't think that converting 1 person a month really will do anything in the grand scheme of things.  (Asside from keeping this group clean.  And I'm all for that.)

The original poster does not want to get tons of spam. This is
legitimate, and I can understand it.

Anyway, his behaviour results in the other domain's users gettings spam.
If this mail account does not exist, they bounce the mails. Anyway, this
causes traffic. Furthermore, this might cause some manual work, thus,
time, for the other domains mail administrator.

If this mail does exist, or it will exist in the future, the spam will
go through to that address there.

Thus, either way, the OP does not want spam, but he makes sure anyone
else gets spam. It is like dumping your garbage can just before the
front of another ones home.

If you don't think this is asocial - I do.
