cvs convenience scripts?

hi, I have googled to no success for a set of convenient scripts to handle
common cvs things.

for starters, I would like a script to simplify the process of deleting a file
from the filesystem and then calling cvs delete on the file.

I often have to switch between branches and would like a simple 
command for that. 

I would also like to list the last 10 branch tags created.


I could write all of these, but I am sure that someone must've 
done so already
given CVS's age.
