Look into "cvs admin -o"

Read the documentation carefully, because if you mangle the arguments, you could lose large chunks of your file.

Subject: How to reverse a commit

I am testing CVS to prepare for a migration out of VSS.  One question I need an answer to is how do you reverse a commit to the CVS repository?

Here is what has happened:

I checked out a file and edited it.  I then commited the changes.  Now, I want to discard the changes and revert to the prior version.

Thanks,

Chris
