This is not the CVSNT newsgroup.  Both 2.0.51d and 2.5.02 are CVSNT only
versions.

Hello,

I am using 2.0.51d Windows client and 2.5.02 Windows server.  I have
created 
a branch at 1.1.1.1 in a large repository.  When I checkout on the empty

directories that are not part of the branch appear in the file system
during 
the checkout.    At the end of the checkout CVS removes them  The prune 
option seems to have  no effect.  These directories appear to
directories 
that have been deleted at a point much later in the source tree in the 
source tree. How can I stop these mystery directories from appearing.
