Running pserver on XP for Linux users

All,

We have set up a repository on a network share and all of our XP users
have no problem accessing it, albeit with the irritating addition of a
-N flag.  Now, we want a few Linux users to be able to access this via
pserver.

Has anyone set this up?  We have a spare XP machine where we installed
CVSNT, but when I try to configure it, I get the message:

"You must store the repository on a local drive.  Network drives are
not allowed".

Has anyone gotten past this?
