The primary reference material for for CVSup is the home page:

and the Frequently Asked Questions page:

This handbook is also good:

The folks also have some good information:

However, in general, you want to follow these basic steps:

1) Get and install CVSup (both the client and the server). You may
either do this from source by getting a modula3 compiler and building
it and then building the CVSupd sources or by installing pre-built

   a) URLs for the sources are:

    b) The URLs for the FC3 RPMs for cvsup are:

For myself, I prefer to have the sources to build everything in case
some problem develops that I need to fix or if I need to port to a
new platform for which I do not have the pre-built runtime. Your
    mileage may vary.

2) Getting the CVSupd server running on your cvs repository machine for
the repositor(y/ies) you desire to mirror.

3) Get the CVSup client running on your backup cvs repository machine.

4) Get a schedule of running the CVSup and when it has finished doing
   your backup.

This document:

should help you in setting up your CVSup mirror.

        Good luck,
