Yes, this works right, but I only want to know if cvs export has the chance
to do it by itself.

Have you tried this?
cd /tmp
cvs -d :pserver:<user>@<host>:<port><repository> \
export -r <revision_tag> <module>
The -d <dir> pathname must be a relative sub-directory, so if you need
it in /tmp, just cd to that directory first.
