Standard CVS does not record "where" a merge occurs.  CVSNT (free/GPL,
Linux, Windows etc) does record this (it's called a mergepoint) but I
don't know if there is a simple query you can do to "find" them.  Ask on
the CVSNT newsgroup if you like.
