OHOHO !! you are right !! Basic information do you need :-p

Well ... in the morning .. it work in th command line ... but ... now
I cant make it to work
>From the Freebsd command line:
cvs -d /usr/local/cvs init
export CVSROOT=:pserver:address@hidden:/usr/local/cvs
cvs login
and i get /usr/local/cvs: no such repository

In my windows I use: UEStudio '06 ... it support CVS : cvs.exe [login
aborted]: /usr/local/cvs :2401:gastos: no such repository

How ur running the cvs server means it is running under xinetd or
inetd( if these r avaliable on freebsd then may be something else)

check /usr/local/cvs if this directory contains a folder or directory
called CVSROOT then you require this command everytime "cvs -d
/usr/local/cvs init" . This command is used only for initializing
repository.

If there is no CVSROOT directory under /usr/local/cvs and ur not able
to initialize it then as a root or superuser initialize this directory
and then try to login in.

Do u have permissions on /usr/local/cvs directory means can u read and
write in this directory.

Ankush
