Put repository also in repository

Hello!

I want to save the status of the repository also in the repository,
in order to checkout the status of the whole repositoy from a certain
time in the past.

Doing this, I navigate to the folder CVS and type in:
cvs import -m "SaveRepository" SaveRep Marc "SaveRep_1.1"

What happens is the following:
It seems that I have created an endless loop.
cvs creates in the cvs folder SaveRep in which again are CVSROOT and
SaveRep.

I have to kill the process in order to stop the creation of useless
folders.

What do I wrong?
