Hi,

Take a look at FishEye: http://www.cenqua.com/fisheye

Amoung its many features, FishEye provides a query engine for CVS which allows for fast structured search and data gathering.

Note that FishEye is a commercial piece of software.

Do tools exist which will pull statistics from a cvs repository?
Statistics = number of files, newest modified stamp, oldest modified
stamp, average modified stamp, and so forth per directory.

I'm looking for a way to tell which directories in a repository are
being actively coded. I'm working with an unknown repository and I'd
sooner skip stale files. A tool which churns out data similar to du
would be just dandy.

Many thanks.
