Problem with cvsignore and pserver |

We're using cvs via
pserver to maintain a repository with source which contains several directories
named "core". I'm trying to import without these being ignored, so I modified
the CVSROOT/cvsignore file to be:
!
RCS SCCS
CVS CVS.adm .svn
RCSLOG
cvslog.*
tags TAGS
.make.state
.nse_depinfo
*~
#* .#*
,* _$*
*$
*.old *.bak *.BAK *.orig
*.rej .del-*
*.a *.olb
*.o *.obj *.so
*.exe *.ko
*.Z *.elc
*.ln
I did the
checkout-checkin method in modifying cvsignore, and got the expected "rebuilding
administrative database" message on checkin, but the core directories and their
contents are still ignored. I've checked to make sure there are no intervening
.cvsignore files in home directories or the like.
Any
ideas?
Thanks,
\
Jon
