Hi all,

We've got a number of files across several distinct modules in our CVS server that were added on branches. The problem is, when you update or checkout on the trunk, these files do not exist, and WinCVS shows them in the graph as having a red box around them. That might not be a big deal, and truly, some of the files only need exist for a specific branch, but the bigger problem seems to be when we go to branch said files again down the road, and I have a script that creates a new branch off of the prior branch, but these files seem never to branch properly. Short of creating new modules and losing all the history, is there a way of "fixing" these files without re-adding them to the same module and thereby losing the history too? Any and all help appreciated!
