Help: CVS connect with SourceForge.net

I setup a project in SourceForge.net, then I wanna use WinCVS1.3 to
login SourceForge.net sever. It saids SourceForge.net login require
SSH, and I had generated a PPK file follow the direction, but I don't
know how to set the CVSROOT. All attempts failed, it said cannot
connent to sever or cannot find sever, otherwise it wait all along and
without response. By the way, must I install python to deal with this?
And how to set python for CVS?
