WinCVS problem

Hello,

 

I am swaroopshastri.

I am facing a strange problem with win CVS:

 

• I login to CVS with my user name/password.

 

It shows the following message: ***** CVS exited normally with code 0 *****

In the status bar I see my old friends name who’s id (gururaj) we were using before.

 

***** CVS exited normally with code 0 *****

cvs -d :pserver;username=swaroopshastri;hostname=abc.com;proxy=1.100.200.30;proxy... login

Logging in to :pserver:address@hidden:2400:/cvsroot/gst-sa

***** CVS exited normally with code 0 *****

 

• I try to diff a file,( I am using external diff.)

 

I get the following

 

cvs update -p -r 1.73.2.10 -- filename.java (in directory C:\abc…..)

cvs update: Empty password used - try 'cvs login' with a real password

 

cvs [update aborted]: authorization failed: server abc.com rejected access to /cvsroot/gst-sa for user gururaj

 

***** CVS exited normally with code 1 *****

 

cvs diff -- filename.java (in directory C:\abc…..)

cvs diff: Empty password used - try 'cvs login' with a real password

 

cvs [diff aborted]: authorization failed: server abc.com rejected access to /cvsroot/gst-sa for user gururaj

 

***** CVS exited normally with code 1 *****

 

• When I logout it shows the following message

 

cvs logout

Logging out of :pserver:address@hidden:2400:/cvsroot/gst-sa

 

***** CVS exited normally with code 0 *****

 

I am not able to work with wincvs. Kindly help. We reinstalled the wincvs but still the problem is persisting.

 

Kindly help me in this manner
