Oh, thank you for clarifying. I really thought that it did not ignore
the CVS directory, and that this resulted in some problems. I even
thought I had already tested it and found it this way.

Perhaps, I had done this with some older versions.

I cannot find the "-d" option for import in the manual for 1.12.13 (nor
for 1.11.22):

-d is not specified in the common options, either.

Is this the option that preserves the original timestamp?
