I tried "cvs log UserManagerTest.java > userManagerLog.log" and getting "cvs [log aborted]: there is no version here; do 'cvs checkout' first" as the response. If I use cvs log > logfile.log, the logfile.log contains information about UserManagerTest.java, the log history for this specific file is as below. ============================================================================= RCS file: /usr/local/cvsroot/talentplus/src/java/com/talentplus/users/test/UserManagerTest.java,v Working file: HEAD/src/java/com/talentplus/users/test/UserManagerTest.java head: 1.1 branch: locks: strict access list: symbolic names: rel-0_16-B: 1.1.0.2 keyword substitution: kv total revisions: 2; selected revisions: 2 description: ---------------------------- revision 1.1 date: 2008/12/30 08:29:36; author: amit; state: Exp; branches: 1.1.2; PR 2426: Admin_Users / Allowed Interviews Table / Do Not Set Default Check Note #7170 Test Case Added. ---------------------------- revision 1.1.2.1 date: 2008/12/31 06:00:51; author: amit; state: Exp; lines: +0 -0 Merged from head PR 2426: Admin_Users / Allowed Interviews Table / Do Not Set Default Check Note #7170 Test Case Added. ============================================================================= Let me know how to handle this scenario.
