We are pleased to announce the release of GNU Mcron 1.1.3.

* About

GNU Mcron is a complete replacement for Vixie cron. It is used to run
tasks on a schedule, such as every hour or every Monday. Mcron is
written in Guile, so its configuration can be written in Scheme; the
original cron format is also supported.

* Download

Here are the compressed sources and a GPG detached signature[*]:

Use a mirror for higher download bandwidth:

[*] Use a .sig file to verify that the corresponding file (without the
.sig suffix) is intact. First, be sure to download both the .sig file
and the corresponding tarball. Then, run a command like this:

  gpg --verify mcron-1.1.3.tar.gz.sig

If that command fails because you don't have the required public key,
this is available attached to this mail.

Then rerun the 'gpg --verify' command.

* Noteworthy changes in release 1.1.3 (2019-11-17) [stable]

** Improvements

  - Added a new contributor the Authors
  - Updated guix.scm - Inherit from mcron
  - Fixed doc/mcron.texi (Every second Sunday)
