I pressed C-g but it didn't pop up any bactrace, it just went on with
it's next task.

I have got the news stuff working, but I can't seem to get the mail. It
might be that gnus doesn't find the movemail-program somehow, because I
got that message a few restarts ago, but I don't get it every time, and
it always hangs when it is supposedly getting mail, from both
.emacs-mail-crash-box and the nnml-method.
How can I find out which movemail-program is being used, or where to
find one and specify it?
