But in the meantime, I have acquired the nnimap groups, the nnimap
server, and the nnimap (secondary) select method. How do I get rid of
them? I have killed the nnimap groups, but if I take away the select
method, gnus will not start at all (it stops with a la "Trying to use
a method that doesn't exist").
I just hope I don't have to manually edit .newsrc.eld; I had a
reasonably large number of nnimap groups, and they are in there..
I believe this problem has been treated before, but my googling was
not clever enough to find anything pertaining to this.
(Why do I want to return to my fetchmil/procmail/nnml combo? Nnimap
was sooo slow for me, in particular when it, ironically, displayed a
message of the form "Quickly checking <certain mailbox>" for 20
seconds or so.)
Thanks as ever for your time and insight,
Stein
