webmail for netscape

Hi all, 
I am trying to use webmail to receive mail from my netscape account. I
downloaded webmail.el and w3 with the one-line-cookie patch. The
url.el is already in w3.
However I end up with the message:

Could not contact host: ureg.netscape.com / 80
Attempted using gateway method: native
---- Error was: ---
ureg.netscape.com/80 Name or service not known

Anyone could give a hint on how to get messages from my netscape
account into gnus(maybe with another way than webmail.el)
