| Problem:
| gnus-group-select-group when given a number selects
| the last X articles BUT because of respooling these
| are not at all near arrival order.
|
| Details:
| I mostly use gnus to read mail.
| I was sorting into separate groups but decided to
| merge a few.
| I changed my rules and respooled.
|
| The early respooled stuff has taken larger numbers
| than my later messages. Thus when I select my
| group from the group buffer and indicate how many
| messages I wish to deal with the resulting messages
| are not in arrival order. Thus displaying 100 messages
| may show messages from five months ago.
|
| Attempted fix:
| Respooled whole resulting group. Didn't seem to fix
| it.

Try to sort messages by date (C-c C-s C-d), process-mark everything
and then respool (or move, perhaps).
