Hello
emacs & alsa, that should not be too difficult. or?
I make play-sound-file alert me when something happens in a erc
buffer. I figured out (only yesterday :-/ ) that this play-sound-file
is not using alsa. If I run the entire emacs like this
gijs@machientje:~$ aoss emacs
play-sound-file will "beep" even when I am doing other things with the
sound cards, such as listen to music using xmms or emms.
so, there must be something along the lines of
(setq emms-player-mpg321-parameters '("-o" "alsa"))
but then for this play-sound-file
Thanks alot for hints!

You can write a small letter to Grandma in the filename.
