revert changes in epg.el and try it:
In your emacs conf:
(setq epg-pinentry-mode 'loopback)
in ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf
use-agent
pinentry-mode loopback
in ~/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf
allow-emacs-pinentry
allow-loopback-pinentry
