The Fedora-3 RPMs for GhostScript have caused some havoc because some
programs (eg. ImageMagick) require libgs.so.7 to function correctly.
The RPM
http://lilypond.org/download/binaries/Fedora-3/ghostscript-libs-7.07-41.i386.rpm
can be installed to fix this problem. It contains the dynamic libraries
libgs.so and libijs.so
