Sorry for the delay. I saw your tuleap tickets too.
We are currently trying to send these patches. See for example
https://trac.pjsip.org/repos/ticket/2082. The thing is, it's a big work
and takes some time. So yeah, it's better if it's upstream, but it takes
time.
