Ok... I'm not seeing any difference between the actual page and the
CVS version.
The CVS version is the definitive statement. I'm not sure why you're
seeing something different on the website.
If I go to http://www.gnu.org/software/java/packages.html I see:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<html>
<head>
<title>Java Software - GNU Project - Free Software Foundation (FSF)</title>
<link REV="made" HREF="mailto:address@hidden">
</head>
<body BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" TEXT="#000000" LINK="#1F00FF" ALINK="#FF0000"
VLINK="#9900DD">
<h3>The GNU package </h3>
...
If I check out packages.html (CVS/Repository is "software/java";
CVS/Root is "address@hidden:/webcvs/") I get this:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Java Software - GNU Project - Free Software Foundation (FSF)</TITLE>
<LINK REV="made" HREF="mailto:address@hidden">
</HEAD>
<BODY BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" TEXT="#000000" LINK="#1F00FF" ALINK="#FF0000"
VLINK="#9900DD">
<H3>The GNU package </H3>
So which is the True packages.html?
I'd rather not apply your patch as it reformats everything as well as
adding new packages.
Well, that's the problem. It didn't re-format everything when I used
the page saved from the web site ...
