Hello all,

I received another mail (similar issues were raised on Github):

-------- FORWARDED --------
Subject: IMPORTANT BUG: JS blocked even after I disable JShelter

I discovered that many payment services doesn't work with JShelter "Shield enabled for this
site". But even when I disable "Shield enabled for this site" I could not pay for my
products. However, when Disabled the addon in about:addons, I could pay for my products.

Is there a bug-tracker for JShelter?

Have this bug been submitted already?

---------------------------

I think that the (some) users really do not get that by turning NBS off, they
do not turn wrappers off.

What do you think about the following change effective with the new UI:

The default GUI shows only ON/OFF toggles for:

* wrappers (with the tweak for this site below or advanced config button)
* NBS
* Fingerprint detector (by default off)

That way, the beginners should not be confused by all the functionality of the
extension and should be able to turn the extension off for a site. Advanced
users could still fine-tune the behaviour.

The related question is if we need 3 default levels and many user provided
levels. I think that a single pre defined level like level 2 could be better.
We need to let the user define own levels (and set them as default). Do we know
about any positive feedback for having L1 and L3?

Giorgio, is it easy to modify the new UI so that the level numbers are not
shown by default but that there is an ON/OFF wrapper slider instead?

We should provide links to docs to each functionality. For NBS,
https://jshelter.org/nbs/ could work (I should add a link to
https://jshelter.org/localportscanning/).

Should we create a summary page that explains wrappers? There is one that was
created by Doxygen
https://www.fit.vutbr.cz/~ipolcak/jsr/doxygen/html/group__wrappers.html. Does
it make sense to change the JShleter.org menu so that it does not show all the
wrappers by name?

Best,

Libor
