Hi,What distribution are people using to develop libcdio and related libraries and applications? In the past, I have used Gentoo/Funtoo, but I am a little tired of building my Linux distribution. Building my own Linux has the advantage that I have the source code for everything, which I think is in the free software spirit, but it is time consuming.
I am a little concerned that if I use a pre-compiled distribution, that I won't necessarily have the correct packages installed for compiling things. Are some distributions better about this than others? Is there a preferred distribution for development? Is there a better place to ask than here?
Thanks! Rob
