[Libffcall] problems in make check

This is on
 Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.5

after
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:address@hidden:/sources/libffcall co ffcall
cd ffcall
./configure
make

all without obvious problems, I get, from
make check :

 cd avcall && make check

Any ideas?
